I stayed for a weekend, and the hotel was exactly as described. It was very quiet and calm. i enjoyed the pool and sauna, and my partner used the gym. It really was relaxing. the location was also great, just a short walk to the river and town.

The location was adequate. The staff provided excellent service.
the air conditioning situation was a joke. i had a terrible time trying to sleep because i kept waking up drenched in sweat, despite the aircon unit appearing to be on. apparently, the temperature is controlled centrally by the hotel, not by the individual unit in the room.

the hotel did not inform me of this closure before my arrival. the bathroom lacked certain amenities that i would expect at a four-star hotel. i was disappointed to find only 2-in-1 shampoo and conditioner available and there were no hygiene bags.

the room was a the darwin king studio and it had all the necessary amenities. the hotel provided underground parking, a great convenience. i also enjoyed the pool and sauna facilities .
i noticed that the room could use some coat hooks near the door, particularly useful during wet weather.
